Commissions
Laudo Prenso accepts a limited number of private and institutional commissions for bespoke photographic works. These are one-of-a-kind creations (edition 1 of 1), conceived and executed exclusively for the patron.
Private Commissions
For individuals, a commission may take the form of:
- A monumental piece designed to harmonize with and transform a specific architectural space.
- A deeply personal artwork created from a subject of intimate significance - an heirloom, object, or natural form - interpreted through Laudo Prenso's signature process.
Each commission is produced as a singular edition, ensuring absolute exclusivity. The resulting work is tailored not only in scale and medium, but in concept and execution, reflecting the individuality of the collector and their chosen subject.
Institutional, Corporate, and Public Commissions
Commissions are also welcomed from museums, galleries, corporate collections, and public institutions. These bespoke works may:
- Complement permanent collections or installations.
- Mark institutional milestones.
- Serve as architectural or cultural focal points for public engagement.
Process
All commissions begin with a dialogue to understand the intent, space, and vision of the patron. Following site visits or subject study, a proposal is developed outlining possible approaches. From there, the commissioned work is executed using the same meticulous techniques employed in Laudo Prenso's practice, with an emphasis on scale, detail, and permanence.
Availability
Because of the scale and complexity of each project, commissions are limited and scheduled well in advance. Inquiries are encouraged from those seeking to create something singular and enduring.
